One Tomato Branches Out

First Friday tonight will see One Tomato launch three new edible products.

Director Linda Weening says they are taking a proactive approach to be prepared when funding ends.

"When the Tabs sauce recipe was published this spring, we thought that we could resurrect an old Sarnia favourite and use it as a fundraiser," she saas. "We'll will try to become self sufficient through local foods and products that will be sold at our home base at 100 Christina St. N."

The downtown Sarnia program is inspected and given DineSafe approval.

One Tomato Project's Food Works has taught hundreds of grade six students how to prepare healthy, local food.
