Two young men face charges following a crash in a construction zone on Waterworks Rd. in Sarnia. At about 1:40 this morning city police responded to a two vehicle collision south of Lakeshore Rd. Waterworks is currently closed between Lakeshore and Michigan Rd. Police say two cars were racing when the first hit a pile of gravel on the road and the second vehicle slammed into the back of it. No one was injured but there was extensive damage, especially to the second car. Two men, aged 21 and 23, are charged with careless driving and driving on a closed road and each face fines totalling $600.
