Following a highly successful pilot project in March, the Bluewater Health Foundation will continue with a farmers market in the atrium of the hospital on the last Thursday in every month. Executive Director Kathy Alexander says fresh fruit and vegetables will be available from 7am until 1pm beginning May 26. "Feedback was wonderful," she says. "We will have one market every month from 7am until 1pm the last Thursday in every month in our atrium. It's open to the public and we invite everyone to come." The vendors fees will go to Bluewater Health's diabetes and clinical nutrition program.
