UPDATE: Sarnia House Explosion Caused By Drug-Making Activity

Sarnia fire officials say drug-making activity caused an explosion at a house in the 100-block of Euphemia St. in Sarnia Saturday afternoon.

Fire investigator Roel Bus says the blast was caused by drug producing activity involving butane.

There was some internal damage to the building, but it remains structurally intact.

There was no fire damage because there was no ensuing fire.

A tenant sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated at hospital and released. Another person sustained a minor burn as well.
