The Sarnia Sting has teamed up with the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), Lambton-Kent branch, for a special campaign at tonight's game.
CMHA spokesperson Angela Kirkland says the goal is to awareness about suicide and promote mental health.
She says they'll have a kiosk at the game, mental health videos on the scoreboard, and information about the Talk Today program.
"Each participating CMHA branch has a designated mental health coach that's directly tied to each of the 20 OHL teams to provide resources and support to the players as well as the people that surround them," says Kirkland.
Kirkland says there will also be a silent auction for a signed Sting jersey.
Tonight's game against Kitchener can be heard live on CHOK beginning with the pregame show just after 6:30pm.
