Police have released the name of a 63-year-old Bright's Grove man involved in a fatal crash early Monday evening, southwest of Pt. Huron.
Wayne Wilkins was taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries. His passenger a 79-year-old Columbus Township man was also treated at hospital.
The crash at the intersection of Wadhams Rd. at Fred Moore Hwy. claimed the life of a 17-year-old Michigan girl.
The sheriff's office says a vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign at the and was hit broadside by Wilkins vehicle.
The investigation continues.
