Truly A Miracle

7,800 bags of food were collected in the 32nd annual St. Pat's Irish Miracle.

High school students, staff and volunteers canvassed the entire city Saturday, December 5.

School Chaplain Joe Palko says the food collected has an estimated value of $125,000.

"In speaking with the people from St. Vincent de Paul, their comment to me was that it truly was a miracle this year," says Palko. "They said at about 3pm Friday, they stopped praying for food so they really felt something special had happened."

The donations will help fill Christmas hampers to be distributed by the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
