The Warden of Lambton County is honoured the community has been nominated for the Smart21 Communities of 2016. Nominations are based on various factors that determine a community's competitiveness and point to its success in the broadband economy. Lambton is one of eight Canadian centres on the international list that also includes communities in the U-S, Australia, Germany, The Netherlands, New Zealand and Sweden. Warden Bev MacDougall says the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership deserves credit. The winner will be announced in June of next year.
