The Special Investigations Unit has been called in after a suspect sustained an injury while being arrested by police in Corunna this morning.
Lambton OPP responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at a residence on Paget St. around 3:15am.
Police says officers arrived to find a man trying to kick in the front door.
The OPP says the suspect was arrested and taken to hospital for treatment of his injury.
The SIU investigates any police actions that result in injury or death or involve allegations of sexual assault.
