A 26-year-old woman faces charges of obstructing and assaulting a police officer following an incident Sunday around 3pm in the Cameron St., East St. area. When police arrested a 26-year-old man for being unlawfully at large, he allegedly gave officers an incorrect name and resisted arrest. A woman he was with, tried to pull him away from police, allegedly struck an officer in the face and kicked another in the shin as she was being arrested. The male faces charges of public mischief, resisting arrest and breach of probation.
