Flushing Out Cancer

A pink porta-potty will be in front of various local businesses throughout the month of October.

The Canadian Cancer Society is rolling out it's "Flush out Cancer" campaign in support of October's breast cancer awareness month.

Community Fundraising Specialist Paula McKinlay says the hosting business must raise $100 to have the porta-potty removed from their site. They can then choose which business to send it to next.

She adds the fund amount will increase by $50 each day until the company has met the requirement.

The campaign first begins at our site, Blackburn Radio on London Rd Monday, October 5 and will be transferred to community businesses until October 30.
