A woman is in London hospital with serious injuries after being extricated from a vehicle involved in a crash on Confederation St. early Tuesday afternoon. Sarnia police say fire and EMS also responded to the two vehicle collision at the intersection of Confederation and Finch Dr. The female driver of one of the vehicles was freed from the wreckage and remains in hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle, a man, did not sustain significant injury and is charged with failing to stop for a red light. The westbound lane of Confederation St. was closed until the crash scene was cleared. City police are thanking numerous witnesses who remained at the scene to assist in the investigation.
