Busy Weekend On Sarnia's Waterfront

It's one of the busiest weekends in Sarnia.

The International Powerboat Festival gets underway tonight with high performance speedboats on display from 5:30pm-7pm in the Bayshore Parking lot.

The weekend's ticketed concerts begin at 8pm when The Trews and Red Wanting Blue take the stage. Tom Cochrane and Red Rider with special guest Kim Mitchell is set to perform tomorrow night.

Time trials go Saturday from 12pm-5pm , with races running Sunday beginning at noon.

The weekend's activities include buskers, family activities, the wakeboard competition, food, beverage and craft booths.

Greekfest opens tonight in the Scotiabank Parking lot between Christina St. and Front St. in downtown Sarnia. It continues all weekend long and coincides with tonight's First Friday event.

Cornfest swings into full gear this evening at 6pm at the Watford Ball Park and continues tomorrow and Sunday.

The San Rocco Festival begins tomorrow and continues through until Sunday at the Clearwater arena.
