Youth Facing Multiple Vandalism Charges

Sarnia police have made an arrest in a vandalism spree earlier this year.

A 14-year-old male youth from Sarnia is accused of spray painting graffiti on motor vehicles, buildings and signs in Sarnia and Point Edward.

A Manley's van parked on Kendall St., a van parked at Bluewater Towing, the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club maintenance shed, Milk Marc Variety and the Bell Canada Building on Michigan Ave., the Co-operator's on Lakeshore Rd., Sarnia Arena, and the scoreboard at the former St. Patrick's High School were all vandalized.

The youth faces eight charges of mischief over $5,000, and one count of mischief under $5,000.

He was released from custody and will appear in court at a later date.
