For the first time in many years, the Sarnia and District Humane Society says all of the dogs at the shelter have been adopted. Manager Donna Pyette says a record 73 animals have already been adopted in this month, about half of which were dogs. She says that's up about 50 percent compared to this time last year. Pyette says about 75 cats are still up for adoption. They're $50 plus vet expenses. For more information, visit sarniahumanesociety.com or 131 Exmouth St.
