Sarnia police are reminding residents not to make themselves targets for thieves.
It's a busy weekend in Sarnia Lambton with several events planned including an Antique Boat Show at the marina, the annual Bridge Bash and the Mackinac Sailboat Race.
Constable John Sottosanti says packed parking lots are prime areas for burglars.

About half of the thefts reported to Sarnia police, are from vehicles.
Residents are also reminded to report any suspicious activity to Sarnia police or Crime Stoppers.
