The driver of a transport truck hauling recycled plastic was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after the rig overturned on Hwy. 40 Monday evening. Sarnia Fire Rescue Services responded to the southbound lanes of Modeland Rd. at the off ramp from the 402 around 6:30pm. The driver had to be extricated from the cab. Southbound Modeland was closed for seven hours. Lambton OPP continue to investigate saying it appears the transport was travelling at a speed that did not enable safe exit from the 402.
