Petrolia Discovery Receives Pipe Donation

The Petrolia Discovery is aiming to get ten oil wells up and running thanks to a generous donation from Toronto-based Dundee Energy L.P.

The company, along with Redick Well Services, has delivered 100 lengths of pipe to Discovery with a value of $10,000.

Acting Chair Dawn Sperling says they were working with just five oil wells and one brine pond due to a lack of funds, supplies and resources.

Sperling says they've also received another donation of 30 lengths of pipe.

She says the Discovery's wells are about 450 ft deep and they are also hoping to fix nine other wells and a second brine pond to increase production.
