Relay For Life

The 14th annual Sarnia Relay For Life begins this evening (Friday).

700 registered participants hope to raise over $250,000.

Canadian Cancer Society spokesperson Paula McKinlay says the event this year runs from 6pm until midnight at Clearwater Park. The previous 12-hour program has been cut in half.

McKinlay says there will be entertainment through the night and different themed laps including "country" and "superhero."

Opening ceremonies begin at 6pm, immediately followed by the survivor victory lap.
