Remediation of Centennial Park will be highlighted as delegates gather in Sarnia for the annual meeting of the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Cities Initiative.

Mayor Mike Bradley says the clean up of Centennial Park is a good story to tell.

Mayors at the meeting are calling for "a decade of action" on phosphorus reduction which has been of particular concern on Lake Erie.

Bradley says the shipment of oil around the Great Lakes by ship, rail and pipeline will also be debated.

He says members will also receive an update on the proposed Bruce Nuclear repository at Kincardine but the group is already on record as being opposed to it.
