Bill C-59 Protests Planned

Sarnia workers will be holding two pickets Tuesday against the federal government's Bill C-59, Division 20.

Spokesperson Lauren Baert says it undermines the collective bargaining rights of federal public service workers.

Since the Supreme Court has established the right to collective bargaining, she believes their rights will be violated if Bill C-59 becomes law.

Approximately 40 PSAC, CUPE and UNIFOR members will be protesting outside MP Pat Davidson's Office at 1pm, and near the Blue Water Bridge at 4pm.
