Bradley Not On Board With Hydro One Plan

Sarnia's mayor is asking city council to formally ask Ontario's liberal government to delay selling off 60 per cent of Hydro One to allow full public hearings across the province.

Mike Bradley says there is currently no opportunity for the public to comment on the controversial move.

Selling 60 per cent of Hydro One would be the biggest privatization of a public asset by the Ontario government in its history.

Bradley is asking city council to formally ask the province to gather community, citizen, business, labour and First Nations input.

The issue will be discussed in County Council June 3rd.
