With tundra swans flocking into north Lambton there's renewed concern being expressed about the impact of wind turbines on wildlife.
Kristen Rodriguez of the group "We're Against Industrial Turbines" was a guest on CHOK's The Talk Show with Sue Storr Thursday.
Rodriguez says this area is home to the largest migratory path of birds and bats in spring and fall.

Rodriguez says tundra swans actually avoid the turbines by changing their migratory path which, in the case of Lambton, would be a big tourism loss.
She says the impact of wind turbines on wildlife has been well documented for the provincial government, to no avail.
W.A.I.T. Plympton-Wyoming has been actively opposing Suncor's plans for a 43-turbine wind project.
