There were traffic slowdowns for workers headed into a big turnaround at Imperial's Sarnia refinery this morning.
35 members of Unifor Local 672, without an agreement since October 24, are manning the picket lines.
National Rep. Glen Sonier says the full-time resident contractors are employed by S.G.S. Canada and are responsible for loading and unloading ships, rail cars and tankers.

Sonier says the company also wants to replace full-time employees with part-timers, something he says could prove dangerous.
The workers also offload vessels at Suncor but are only picketing when ships arrive.
