Sarnia council has authorized an operational review of the City's Planning and Development Services.
City Planner Jane Cooper hopes the review develops their processes to ensure the best possible planning service that money can buy.

The review will include consultation from stakeholders including the Homebuilders Association, real estate sector and the public who use the services on a daily basis.
Cooper expects it to take about 10 months to complete, and says it will be followed by an action plan outlining any changes or improvements needed.
Dates for planned community consultation will be announced at a later time.
