Plympton-Wyoming Making Noise Over Turbines

Suncor Energy says it's regulated by the province in terms of noise limits for its Cedar Point wind project in Plympton-Wyoming.

The company has expressed concerns about a municipal bylaw passed last year that technically would not allow the turbines to operate based on noise.

Company spokesman Jason Vaillant says as far as they're concerned they're free to proceed but they still want to continue dialogue with the municipality.   [audio mp3="http://blackburnnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Suncor-turbine-noise-Vaillant-2.mp3"][/audio]  Vaillant says they'll follow up with Plympton-Wyoming to try to find ways to resolve the issues with the municipality.

Over half of the 46 Cedar Point wind turbines would be located in Plympton-Wyoming.
