The City of Sarnia is lifting parking restrictions for tonight.
City Planner Jane Cooper says the overnight restrictions from 2am to 5:30am will not be enforced.
She says the city wants to help ensure that everyone has a safe new years eve and doesn't drink and drive.
Sarnia Transit is offering free rides tonight for those going out to ring in 2015.
Deputy Director Lee Patterson says its their annual effort to prevent drinking and driving.

Patterson says most of their last trips will leave downtown at 2:50am with service wrapping up at 3am.
