Low Gas Prices Benefiting Local Stores

The price of gasoline is below the 90 cent mark in Sarnia-Lambton, the lowest level in years, and the Chamber of Commerce believes that will only help stimulate the local economy.

President Rory Ring says with residents spending less on gasoline, there's more money available for the purchase of goods and services.

He says some Americans might even consider shopping in Canada.

The Chamber will be hosting an economist January 6 to give some insight on where oil prices may be headed in the future.
