Second Arrest In Dog In Dumpster Case

Sarnia police have made a second arrest after a small, badly injured dog was found in a dumpster in the 900 block of Colborne Rd. last month.

The dog was discovered on October 19 wrapped in garbage bags.

It was determined the dog, which had to be euthanized, had been left in the dumpster for several days.

Police charged a 22-year-old man with two counts of animal cruelty November 18.

Thursday, Sarnia police laid similar charges against an 18-year-old woman.

No names have been released.
