There's a public open house at Coronation Park Day Nursery this evening with the Sarnia daycare set to close November 28.
Lambton County council voted to close the financially strapped facility in September.
It was running a deficit of more than $1-million due to provincial funding cutbacks and the introduction of all day kindergarten.
Manager of Social Planning and Children's Services Doug Ball says tonight's open house is a chance to say goodbye.

The closure affects 40 full and part time employees, the majority being members of CUPE Local 2926.
The open house runs from 6pm to 8pm at the Oak Ave. facility.
