Federal Funds Sought For Health Study

The Lambton Community Health Study group heads to Ottawa Wednesday to formally ask for federal funding.

$4.8-million is needed to complete phase 3 and $1.76-million is being sought over the next five years from the federal government.

The group has received $1.4 million in funding from the Sarnia-Lambton Environmental Association, but Chair of the Health Study Board, Anne-Marie Gillis, says funding from the feds and province is vital.
