A second charge of attempted murder has been laid against a Sarnia man in a fire October 21 that was determined to have been deliberately set.
38-year-old Peter Jindra Kupec was previously charged with one count of attempted murder, arson with disregard for human life, aggravated assault and flight from police.
A 24-year-old Sarnia man remains in London hospital after sustaining severe burns in the blaze at a home on Alfred St.
Others in the house at the time were not injured.
Kupec remains in police custody and had a bail hearing scheduled today.
