Three Chatham men facing charges following theft investigation
A theft investigation has led to multiple arrests.
Chatham-Kent police said that three men were at a business on St. Clair Street in Chatham before reportedly leaving without paying for several items.
The Chatham men, aged 23, 26, and 42, were located by police and arrested.
According to police, the youngest of the three initially provided a false name and tried to get away on foot. He was reportedly caught after a short foot chase and charged with theft and possession of stolen property.
The 42-year-old faces the same charges.
The 26-year-old faces additional charges of resisting arrest and obstruction.
Police determined that the two men in their 20s also had warrants against them from other police agencies.

Police investigating b-and-e
Chatham-Kent police are investigating after a Grand Avenue West business was entered overnight, between Saturday and Sunday.
Police said the suspects forced their way into the business and took alcohol and electronics.

Argument leads to arrest
A man has been arrested after violating a release order.
Chatham-Kent police were called to a Talbot Trail address in Blenheim for a disturbance call over the weekend.
When officers arrived they found a man and a woman involved in an argument, police said.
It was determined that the man was breaching a release order that barred him from being at that address and he was arrested.
