Robbery investigation in Tilbury

Chatham-Kent police have released a photo of a suspect who is wanted in connection with a robbery at the Circle K in Tilbury.

Police said the robbery took place at 1:13 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2022 and you can find the picture below.

The person is described as 5'9" with a slim build and they were last seen wearing a 3/4 length winter jacket, a black toque, black gloves, and a black mask.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Police looking for stolen vehicle

Chatham-Kent police are also looking for a white 2005 Chevy Suburban that was reported stolen from a commercial property on Park Avenue East in Chatham early Wednesday morning.

Police said the vehicle was taken at around 2:40 a.m. Wednesday and was not plated at the time.

It has rust spots on the driver's side and the front bumper was also hanging low to the ground.

Officers said a person wearing black running shoes, black pants, a grey jacket, and a white hoodie was last seen entering the veh icle and driving it north on Hyslop Street.

The stolen vehicle is similar to the one pictured below.

Anyone with information should contact police or Crime Stoppers.

Police looking for help to identify theft suspect

Chatham-Kent police are asking for your help to identify the person pictured below in connection with a theft investigation at Parks Blueberries in Bothwell.

Police said the theft took place back on September 12, 2022.

Two people arrested for public intoxication

A 20-year-old Chatham-Kent man and a 30-year-old Blenheim man both spent some time sobering up in police custody overnight.

Chatham-Kent police said they arrested the 20-year-old man after they received a report of a man kicking at the door of a residence on Tecumseh Street in Dresden at around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said when officers arrived at the scene, they found the man intoxicated and unable to care for himself, so he was taken into custody until he sobered up.

The 30-year-old Blenheim man was arrested after police allegedly found him laying on the ground on the north side of the Third Street Bridge in Chatham at around 1 a.m. Thursday.

Police said the man was unable to care for himself, so he was also taken into custody until he was sober.
