Chatham-Kent police have made three arrests after a search at a residence on St. Clair Street in Chatham allegedly turned up about $20,000 worth of illegal drugs.
Police said they executed a search warrant at the residence early Wednesday morning and seized some suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, and oxycodone tablets.
Officers also seized some digital scales, packaging materials, cell phones, and a large quantity of cash.
Theodore Worth, 47, of St. Clair Street in Chatham and Chantelle McGee, 40, of St. Clair Street in Chatham were both arrested and charged with three counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking. They were both later released with a future court date.
Anthony Mills, 32, of Shepard Avenue in Scarborough was arrested and charged with three counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of failing to comply with his release conditions. He was set to be held in custody pending a bail hearing.
