Break and enter in Harwich Township
Police are searching for the person or people responsible for stealing several items from a home near Blenheim.The theft happened at a residence on Communications Road sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Tuesday. The owners of the house returned home to see a suspect fleeing the scene carrying a red Bauer duffle bag.
The thief made off with a Samsung cell phone, a laptop, and some jewelry. Officers searched the area afterwards but came up empty-handed.

Theft of tools in Chatham
Police are investigating after a weekend theft of several power tools.It happened at an unlocked residence on Curran Crescent. The time and day it occurred are unknown and the total value of the stolen goods is estimated at around $1,200.

Two people arrested on warrants
On Tuesday police were able to scratch two names off their wanted list.
The first person was caught in the morning. The 26-year-old man was wanted for failing to attend court a month before. He was located in a parking lot on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg and arrested. The man was then transported to police headquarters for a bail hearing.
Later that afternoon in Chatham, police nabbed a 39-year-old man who was wanted for breaching his probation order and failing to comply with his release conditions. He was also taken into police custody for a bail hearing.
