Five Midwestern Ontario athletes make U18 Softball Canada roster

A total of five Midwestern Ontario athletes have made the final Softball Canada U18 roster.

The team will compete at the 2023 Pan American Championship in Sincelejo, Colombia from September 3-9.

Three local athletes were named to the initial roster of six: Nolan Bultena of Arthur, Alex McGillivray of Durham and Joseph Weiler of Hepworth.

Joining them now on the complete roster are Riley Good of Wingham and Daniel Scott from Stratford.

They'll be joined by Team Trainer Darren Smale from St. Marys.

The Pan American Championship will feature a total of six teams – Argentina, Canada, Colombia, Peru, the United States and Venezuela – with the top four earning a spot at the 2023 WBSC U18 Men’s Softball World Cup November 11-19 in Hermosillo, Mexico.
