Softball Canada has unveiled the roster for their U23 camp being held from September 30th to October 3rd in Saskatoon.
The roster and coaching staff include some Midwestern Ontario talent. Among the invitees is Williamsford native Owen Torrie. He will be joined by Shakespeare's Reese Yantzi. The coaching staff also features Darren Smale from St. Marys, who will serve as the team's athletic therapist.
The release also states that "Team Canada's U23 softball team is scheduled to compete at a Pan American continental qualifier in Colombia in the first three months of 2022. The top four teams from that event will compete in the inaugural U23 Men’s Softball World Cup in Argentina in November 2022."
