After a double bogey on the par-3, 7th hole, Conners was able to sink birdies on four of the next five holes. He finished the day with a 2-under-70 and was 6-under for the tournament.
American Jordan Spieth was the winner at 18-under.
Conners will now get ready for the Masters which tees off Thursday.
