Conners stays under par but drops in standings

Listowel's Corey Conners shot a 1-under-70 in the final round of the PGA's RBC Hertiage and finished in a tie for 21st at 14-under.

Conners put himself in contention earlier in the contest with a second round 8-under-63. He followed that up with a 2-under-69 in the third round.

In the fourth round, Conners was able to sink three birdies but also carded two bogeys. He finished as the top Canadian.

Adam Hadwin was 11-under in a tie for 41st and Mackenzie Hughes was 3-under in a tie for 70th.

Webb Simpson was the winner, finishing at 22-under for the tournament. His round of 7-under-64 sealed the win.
