Jays' slugger puts on a show at MLB Home Run Derby

Jays' slugger Vladimir Guerrero Jr. belted 91 home runs in three rounds of the MLB home run derby.

But he fell short in the final round.

Mets' rookie Pete Alonso hit 23, one better than Guerrero Jrs' 22. Alonso earned $1 million for his efforts.

On his way to the final bracket, Guerrero Jr. hit 29 home runs in the first round, breaking the previous record. He then smacked 40 home runs in the second round in a triple tie breaker with Dodger Joc Pederson, setting another record.

In the end Guerrero Jrs' 91 home runs through the three rounds also set a record, crushing the former mark of 61 set by Giancarlo Stanton in 2016.
