Team Canada keeps racking up wins at the WBSC World Softball Championships

Team Canada continued it's hot streak at the WBSC Men's Softball World Championships in the Czech Republic today.

After beating the rival U.S. team 4-1 yesterday, Canada edged Venezuela 2-1 today to move their record to 5-0. Venezuela came into the game undefeated. Jason Hill had 2 RBI for Canada to help lead them to victory, while Mitchell native Tyler Pauli went 0-1 at the plate. Canadian pitcher Devon McCullough pitched all 7 innings, allowing 1 run off 4 hits with 13 strikeouts.

Canada's next two games are tomorrow against Singapore and Thursday against the Republic of South Africa. Playoffs begin Friday.
