Listowel Legionnaires Announce New Head Coach

With baseball season quickly approaching, the Listowel Legionnaires have made an addition to their organization.

Owner Chris Kurz says the team has a fresh face behind the bench.

"New head coach for our senior club, a man named Trevor Reading. He has a rich baseball history himself, played a lot of fastball. Then he got into hardball when his son started playing it and he just has a natural love of the game."

Reading was given a shining endorsement with Kurz citing his communication skills as a key reason he offered Reading the job.

"Trevor's a great leader, really communicates well with people of all ages. I worked with him on a spring hockey team a few years ago with his own son. So we're really excited to have him, we know he's going to do great things and just keep moving us up the ladder of the Midwestern Ontario Senior Baseball League."
