Blyth Native Peters Makes Team Canada Men's Hockey Team

A Blyth native will be on this year's Men's Olympic Hockey team.

Justin Peters is one of three netminders selected by Canada for the upcoming Olympic Hockey tournament in Pyeonchang, South Korea.

He tended the net for the Huron-Perth Lakers Minor Midget team before four solid OHL seasons in Mississauga, getting selected 32nd overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2004 NHL Draft.

Peters is playing professionally this season in Germany for the DEL's Cologne Sharks.
