Three Elmira Sugar Kings have been named players of the month for October in the GOJHL's Midwest.
Kincardine's Ethan Skinner and fellow forward Jake Brown named offensive players of the month. And goalie Johnathon Reinhart was named goalie of the month.
Skinner had 12 G and 14 A in the month of November and is second in scoring across the entire GOJHL with 34 points so far this season. Brown had 5 G and 21 A and is also in the top five of scoring.
Reinhart had 11 wins in October is ranked fifth among goaltenders in the GOJHL. While his season statistics to this point are a 2.39 GAA and .927 save %, his October numbers were a 1.77 GAA and .946 save %.
The Elmira Sugar Kings currently sit first in the GOJHL Midwest, two points ahead of the Listowel Cyclones.
