Brampton Player Tyler Wood Okay After Scary Incident

After a scary incident in Listowel Friday night, Brampton Bombers defenseman Tyler Wood is home and resting.

The Bombers' play-by-play broadcaster Nicholas Fiore says Tyler suffered a concussion after slamming his head on the ice after a tangle-up with Listowel captain Blake Nichol. Both team trainers and some doctors in the stands acted quickly to stabilize Wood while waiting for local EMS. Wood received five stitches in his head.

Fiore says Tyler is in good spirits at home and will be re-evaluated in a week.
