OHA Brings Junior C Teams Under One Banner

All Junior C teams in Ontario now fall under one identity.

The newly formed Provincial Junior Hockey League takes in all eight Junior C loops, including the Western Junior C division.

Western Junior C convener Steve Coulter says they will now have uniform rules and regulations.

"We're all under one umbrella. The overtimes will be the same in each division and the playoffs remain the same," says Coulter. "I think it's a great undertaking they've done to bring these teams together. It's a big job."

The Ontario Hockey Association set up a committee a couple seasons ago to get the PJHL process started, with the goal of unifying all Junior C leagues.
