Walkerton, Mount Forest Both Win On The Road

The Wingham Ironmen lost their 5th in a row last night at home to the first place Walkerton Hawks.

The Hawks scored 30 seconds into the game and never looked back, taking an eventual 6-2 decision over the home team. Walkerton's Josh Deyell scored the team's first two goals and had four points in total. League leading point man Lauchlin Elder added a goal to push his points total to 54.

Before the game, the Ironmen honoured former player Aaron Armstrong with a banner ceremony. Armstrong set a new single season point total in Junior C with 124 points in 2013-14. He now plays for Ryerson University.
