Kincardine Defenseman Assistant Captain In Guelph

18-year old and Kincardine native Garrett McFadden is an assistant captain with the Guelph Storm this season.

The OHL club named their captain and assistants today.

McFadden was a first round pick of the Storm in 2013, played on a the World U-17 Hockey Challenge team that season and was part of Guelph's 2014 championship team. He is into his third season with the Storm and has appeared in 98 games.

Guelph opens its season at home against Oshawa tomorrow night then will travel to Owen Sound Saturday night.
