The Owen Sound Attack are announcing defensemen Damir Sharipzyanov has been signed to a three-year entry-level contract with the LA Kings.
Kings President and General Manager Dean Lombardi made the announcement yesterday.
The 19-year-old appeared in 66 regular season games last season for the Attack and had 34 points. In five post season games, he had three points.
Sharipzyanov will miss the Attack training camp because of minor surgery on an upper body injury. He is expected to be ready by late September to resume playing for the Attack.
